The Abba Fund makes interest-free loans to Christian families who are adopting.  They also created a special program called LegacyChild in which they match donor families that want to start a memorial fund in memory of a lost loved one with families that need funds to adopt.

Families seeking adoption financing or fundraising information should contact Kingdom Kids Adoption Ministries for more information about their grant and fundraising/donation programs. If you believe adoption is the step you are being led to take the Kingdom Kids Adoption Ministries can offer a light along the way. This program will not pay for your entire adoption, but it can help provide the financial assistance that you need to make your dream a reality.

Through Kingdom Kids Adoption Ministries, your church, a business, a family member, or friend agrees to sponsor part of the expenses. Through a process of tax-deductible donations, individuals or groups can provide money toward the adoption.

The National Adoption Foundation is the country's only national nonprofit organization dedicated to providing financial support, information, and services for adoptive and prospective adoptive families. NAF has recently expanded their programs to include home equity loans, unsecured loans and grants for adoption expenses. MBNA offers unsecured loans specifically designed for adoptive parents. Call 888-627-8767 for details.

A Child Waits Foundation provides low-interest loans up to $10,000.00 for five years.  They also have a grant program for familes adopting an older or special needs child.  For more information, call 866-999-2445 or e-mail.

Check with your bank or a local lending institution about a home equity loan. This money can be used for anything you choose and the interest may be deductible when you file your tax return.

The Adoption Guide may have information about where to look for help, what subsidies are available, and where loans and grants may be found.

APFUSA A Loan Processing Company

Chase New Additions program offers discounted interest rates on home equity loans for families adopting.  Families must have more than 10 percent equity in their homes & good credit scores.
